We have started to erect steel resulting with precast arriving December 18th.
We have poured the rear of the school and gymnasium. The developer is shaping the pond in the back of our property resulting in water retention. This will be temporary and when the subdivision becomes approved will result with the pond being removed. Work is progressing well.
Today is our site meeting day and we have a flurry of activity. The push is on as Kiwi-Newton Construction wants to pour slab on grade tomorrow \ as much as possible\. Construction is progressing well.
I paid a visit to the site on Saturday and observed the plumbing underground is well on it’s way. Foundation walls are still not complete at the front of the school as the mason has scaffold erected in the rear.
We have completed over 90% of our foundation walls. On our critical path Kiwi Newton {our General Contractor} is leading with foundation\ closely followed is our Mason and M&E contractor. Today is sunny and warm.
Foundation will be complete later today and mason contractor is working on gym walls. We are waiting for mechanical contractor to mobilize resulting underground piping being placed.
We have an estimated 80% of foundation complete allowing the construction of some walls.
